FAQ and Troubleshooting guide for Nodinite Log Databases

How large is the Log Database?

The Log Databases are typically between 0-50 GB. You can safely shrink these databases at any time especially if the transaction log has grown large.

What Recovery Model should I have

We recommend that you have the following settings for your Nodinite databases: * Configuration Database should be set to use full recovery mode. * Log Databases can be set to use simple recovery mode, at least when Nodinite is used with BizTalk Server
You can read further about this in the following 'Microsoft SQL Server Recovery Models' article

How many Log Databases are there?

How do I update the Log Database?

Can I move the Log Database to another SQL Instance?
