Manage Log File Parser Agent Monitoring Agent

Manage monitoring thresholds and perform remote administrative actions on Log File configurations

The agent monitors the content of one or more text-based log files in one or more specified SMB shares and/or folders. Various filters exist. Apply these to include only a specific type of files using the specified RegEx expression.

Each log file configuration manifests as a unique Resource, with the user-friendly display name from the remote configuration settings.

When 'End match' is enabled, the following modal will be shown.

This operation is unlikely to fail. Common reasons to fail are:

  • The server where the agent is installed is pending a reboot or has already begun the reboot operation
  • Someone tampered with the account for the service
  • The monitoring agent is being updated.

If any of these are the case, please wait a minute or two and retry the operation. Otherwise, contact your Nodinite administrator and/or contact our support.

Show Log Files

  • Allowed time span - Timespan format (days.hours:minutes:seconds)
