Monitoring Mule ESB Applications

Monitor the status of Mule Applications. The Mule ESB Monitoring Agent creates one Resource for each Application found in the Mule ESB Server Instance. These are then available for end-users in one or more role-based Monitor Views.

What is evaluated for the Mule ESB Application?

The different possible evaluated states for your custom Mule ESB Applications are provided in the table below:

Unavailable Service not available If the server can't be reached and evaluated either due to network or security-related problems Review prerequisites

TIP: The evaluated state may be reconfigured using the Expected State functionality that exists on every Resource within Nodinite.

NOTE: Depending on the user-defined synchronisation interval set for the Mule ESB Monitoring Agent, there might be a delay before Nodinite Web Client/Monitor Views reflects upon the change. Click the Sync All button (or on the dropdown for individual agent selection) to force Nodinite to request a resynchronisation request.

Start

Start the Mule ESB Application.
Start application

The Mule ESB Monitoring Agent contacts the Mule ESB Server instance and starts the application. The result appears on the screen.

Stop

Stop the Mule ESB Application.
Stop application

The Mule ESB Monitoring Agent contacts the monitored Mule ESB Server instance and stops the application. The result appears on the screen.
Application stopped

Statistics

Get Statistics for the selected Mule ESB Application.

You can easily clear the statistics by clicking the Actions button (on one of the rows in the table) and then on the Clear Statistics menu item:
