Add or manage Endpoint
Endpoints are automatically being added from Log Events.
In this section, you will learn how to manually add or manage an Endpoint.
General tab for Endpoint where basic information is managed
|Name||The user-friendly name|
|Description||The user-friendly description|
|Web Site||Link to external documentation or system|
|URI||The physical or logical address (URI means Uniform Resource Identifier and should reflect the address used for the message exchange in the system integration solution.)|
|Direction||The direction for the Endpoint, simply select one of the pre-defined|
|Endpoint Type||The type of Endpoint, simply select one of the pre-defined|
|Log Agent||The Log Agent that this endpoint belongs to, simply select one of the pre-defined|
In the Advanced tab, you can manage some BizTalk Specific settings like:
Default Message Type on send port - Use this feature to override passthru ports where message type for non-xml messages would otherwise be:
- Unparsed interchange
- Serialized Interchange
Enable re-mapping of dynamic send ports - Use this feature when your static or dynamic send port by code (like in a custom pipeline) changes either the type of port or the address. Nodinite would otherwise miss tracked data since the expected configuration does not match.
Use the perpetual Statistics to learn more about traffic patterns on selected Endpoint and get the list of tracked Message Types.
